BTW, I'm really interested in the Kazakhstan card, I would love to watch it. If anyone has any info on whether it will be shown somewhere on TV, PPV or online please let me know. Beibut Shumenov is supposedly the TRUTH so I want to see him in action, plus the card is pretty stacked and I would love to see a fight from Kazakhastan!

That May 30th card is halfway decent.

I'm also excited to see Ward finally fighting someone who I've actually heard of. LOL

^^haha, I agree I'm really excited to see Kermit get his ass kicked. Come to think of it, every Kermit fight is full of entertainment. Whether he's literally crying, getting raped by Margarito, knocking someone out or telling the ref he got head butted when he was clearly punched, you know you're in store for something entertaining when he's in the ring!

damn does anyone even care about the Chad Dawson vs. Antonio Tarver rematch? lmao, I heard they haven't even sold 2,000 tickets. Has to be one of the most unanticipated rematch title fights in recent memory. HBO has been pushing it too, I constantly see previews for it. Surprising they even picked it up it belongs on Showtime or ESPN. I kinda hope Milk Dud wins this time

Man that fight is a joke. There was nothing in the first match to make me think....hmm....if Tarver did ________ he could have a chance in a rematch.

He got scraped.

The first fight didn't even sell 1,000 tickets ! And from what I've read, most of those were given away too.

The rematch is a stupid fight, I would have much rather seen Chad move down and take on someone at '68. Or take a fight with B-Hop in sort of a passing the torch type fight, or that German champion, that he was supposed to fight.

^^Tarver said his plan this time is to "let his hands go" lmao why didn't he do that before then?? HBO keeps telling us over and over that Tarver is undefeated in rematches, haha. We'll see.

And for record I think a 44 year old hopkins beats dawson! But really he needs to give Glen Johnson a rematch before anything else, Glen deserves it.

Which German champ was Dawson supposed to fight? If you're speaking of Erdei there's no way in hell Erdei would ever take a fight that dangerous.

I agree that Dawson should drop to SMW .. there's more money there for him and he'd do good, IMO. I'd rather see a rematch with Johnson over a rematch with Tarver even though I don't think he lost the Johnson fight.

Not too exciting and not too impressive by dawson. Tarver did pretty good, he stunned chad a few times but he just didn't throw enough hard punches, too many pussy shots. Dawson as usual fights in spurts, I don't know, he has great speed and good combo's but his style wont entice any of the big names to fight him. He should just rematch Johnson. Although Tavoris Cloud has been waiting to fight Dawson, I believe he is his mandatory, that would be a sick fight and Cloud does have the power to KO dawson but I'm not sure if he has the kills or experience to beat him.

Charles Hatley who fought on Friday Night Fights on ESPN2 yesterday looks like a winner in my book, yes it might have been against subpar talent but from what i seen from him he looks like he has "it". I mean he just missed the cut to make the Olympic team last year and he was the amateur national champ in 2007 aswell. I remember seeing something about him awhile back before the Olympic team was formed and they were raving about him then.

He just barely turned pro and i will definitely keep my eyes on the kid from here on out to see how well he progresses throughout his career.

He is featured in this documentary about fighters preparing for the Olympics its call Sweet Science...If anyone knows where i can find the full length version i'd appreciate it.

here is the trailer

Campas-Camacho draw!

By Edgar Gonzalez

In a battle of former world champions fought at junior middleweight poundage, Yori Boy Campas (92-14-1, 74 KOs) and Hector “Macho Man” Camacho (79-5-3, 38 KOs) fought to an eight round draw on Saturday night at the Universal Center in Orlando, Florida. With lack of fire works from both fighters the 46 year old veteran from Puerto Rico couldn’t stop holding throughout the scheduled eight rounds. The heavy-handed Campas stalked the hitting and grabbing Camacho throughout the fight but neither ever gained the upper hand. Scores were 77-75 Campas, 78-74 Camacho and 76-76. “I am pleased with the decision we have no losers. This is one fight out of three,” stated Camacho after the fight. “We have big plans by the end of the year. At 46 I am still the man, it’s Macho time!” Campas stated, “We felt we won. It was more like a wrestling fight. I think because we’re in his town they gave us a draw. Camacho is a smart guy when he’s in trouble, he knows how to hold on. I have fought for 15 years and no one has hugged me as much as him not even my wife. He needs to understand he’s not the same Camacho he was before but oh well.” The pay-per-view bout was shifted to Florida earlier this week after New Jersey boxing authorities refused to allow Camacho to fight.
