wilder also doesnt have the power to ko the top heavyweights. Wilder always been the same beats people cuz of his reach not really cuz of his skills. I cant believe this fight went the distance. Lucky I didnt bet on that i would have lost

Stiverne has a really good chin. I think Wilder either by his decision or his teams gameplan was to box and not take too many chances, which is smart, didn't equal an amazing fight or a KO, but he won a title. He's still learning too. Answered a lot of questions tonight - good chin, smart, has boxing ability, etc. I think he can absolutely KO the many of the top heavyweights.

Yeah I think Wilder can definitely KO top guys, he does need to cut out going insane when he feels someone is hurt. He hurts them with straight rights and them loses his mind and gets wide on the follow up.

Curious to see how he gets matched up from here on out.
Maybe Jennings or Tyson Fury. Definitely won't go straight to Klitschko and he shouldn't, he should get as much experience as he can get against some more top guys. This was his first big fight, definitely need to let the fight build up too.

Jennings from everything I've seen is almost guaranteed a fight with Wlad in New York in April and they're not gonna put Wilder in with Wlad anyway. Fury would be a cool fight.

I could absolutely see a nonsense defense though.

I love you too, 2-0-Sixx @2-0-Sixx ! It was too obvious Wilder was gonna box rather than go for the KO. All he had to do is last 12 rds and he would be champ. I didn't see the fight cuz I was at work but a fight like this was very important for Wilder. I do see a rematch next year. I would say Big Nipple is next.

Gotta give props to B @battle619 for predicting a decision. I was checking out a poll on boxingscene and out of over 350 votes, only 5 picked a winner by decision, everyone else a KO one way or the other.
Yea but he picked the wrong fighter to win and there damn sure wasnt no robbery lol. Got Em!!

Wilder vs. Fury next please! Battle of the loud mouth's...Really impressed by Wilder though, he showed a great chin, big power and can box the shit out of you. Def. what the HW is missing and being american just makes it a lil more sweeter. Can't wait to see whats next for him.

One of my favorite prospects opening up for Rios/Alvarado III. There's 2 divisions where a Mexican hasn't won titles at, super middleweight & heavyweight. If JCC Jr stays inactive I keep hearing they're trying to get Ramirez in there with Abraham.

Hope he shows his class tonight.

I'm not too impressed so far, he at times looks slow as fuck and leaves himself so open, but sometimes he's shown little spurts of pretty decent combos.

Vlasov is a good fighter and Ramirez is only 23. I didn't mean favorite in that I think he's unbeatable if you listen to the kids interviews he talks about being great over anything and knows a lot about Mexican boxing history. I just like the way he carries himself and I think he'll continue to improve.

Definitely room for improvement though I think he can beat today's version of Abraham if they were to fight next.
