I would put money on Porter tomorrow and I don't typically bet but since it's online, friendly bet battle, I'll take Porter.

I won't even get to see the fight tomorrow, I totally forgot about it. I'm going to see Maxwell in concert with my old lady. Clown on that if you want, dudes music is dope!

Per Dan Rafael

Bika $700K, Dirrell $500K, Porter $500K, Brook $200K, Wilder $50K

WBC super middleweight champion Sakio Bika (32-5-3, 21 KOs) will be getting the biggest purse in tonight's Showtime fight card from the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Bika is getting $700,000 to defend his title against unbeaten #6 WBC Anthony Dirrell (26-0-1, 22 KOs), according to Dan Rafael of ESPN. Bika's adviser is Al Haymon, which would explain why he's getting paid so well. Dirrell is getting paid well too. His purse for tonight is $500,000.

IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15 KOs) is getting $500,000 for his defense against Britain's Kell Brook (32-0, 22 KOs) in the main event of the card. Brook is getting considerably less at $200,000.

Heavyweight knockout artist Deontay Wilder (31-0, 31 KOs) is getting $50,000 for his fight against journeyman Jason Gavern in their scheduled 10 round fight on Showtime Extreme.

Here are the full fight card purses via Dan Rafael's twitter: Carson card purses: Porter $500k, Brook 200k, Bika 700k, Dirrell 500, Figueroa 270, Estrada 130, Wilder 50, Gavern 32,500, Linares 5K, Terry 6,500.

My picks for shits & giggles

1).Shawn Porter vs Kell Brook (IBF Welterweight) - Porter late TKO
2).Yoan Pablo Hernandez vs Firat Arslan (IBF Cruiserweight) - Hernandez Decision
3).Omar Figueroa vs. Daniel Estrada WBC lightweight title - Figueroa close decision
4).Sakio Bika vs. Anthony Dirrell, rematch WBC super middleweight title - Dirrell close decision

4 can go anyway and 1 I'm just not sure what Brook is at this point. I wouldn't be shocked if he won by decision, but Porter has been beastin lately he's on a roll. Gotta go with the hot hand

Major props to Brook for coming over and taking a dangerous fight for that money. I thought he was gonna be a dude that racked up like 89 title defenses without taking a real challenge outside of England. I was dead wrong apparently.
Not to take anything away from Brook,.but this was a mandatory fight ordered by the IBF. I'm sure if Brook wanted to follow the career of Calzaghe he could have faked an injury or said he's scared of planes.

Porter vs Keith Thurman would be awesome if he wins. Khan is gonna get Floyd or Pacquiao regardless next year so long as he doesn't lose. I'm feeling pretty sure about that.

I know this means little, but Al Haymons right hand man Sam Watson said in an interview the plan for Floyd is ti fight Khan and Pacquiao next year and retire making well over $100m in 2015. Of course, we've heard these types of tales before but with Floyd's contract coming to an end maybe.

The winner of Porter/Brook is likely gonna be fighting JMM. From everything I've heard they've been having serious talks about it.

I don't care who's responsible for this card, but it's fantastic and I'm stuck in shithole West Monroe until Monday-Tuesday with no Showtime. I'll have to wait till then to watch anything.

You know it's a good card when Figueroa Vs. Estrada is not even being talked about and that's an awesome fight. Estrada would be the first champion for JMM if he were to pull it off.

^^^ Yep, even De La Hoya said it. Don't forget, GBP is cool with HBO now but who knows how much they want to deal with Haymon. As far as Floyd vs Manny, that will not happen til after the Showtime contract is over for Floyd. HBO, Top Rank, and even Canelo want TMT to suffer financially so they can have leverage when doing business with Floyd. If Khan vs Guerrero does happen, Khan will get the decision and they will fight in the UK. Thurman will get the loser of Khan vs Guerrero

Interesting. I haven't heard those rumors. If Porter wins that would be a Golden Boy/Top Rank fight?
I first heard it on A Los Golpes then I heard it on Golpe A Golpe where JMM is a co host. The jist of it was they asked him about a fight with Khan and he said he'd likely pass on fighting Khan because Khan is chasing money right now and what he really wants is another title at a different weight class and said he's chasing history.

Then they asked him about the rumors of fighting the winner of Brook/Porter and he said that's what they've been trying to shoot for, Nacho is on board with it etc.

In the end it could just be Marquez trying to get in his name in there, only reason I semi believe it is cause I heard it before Marquez said it and then he confirmed there's been talks but we all know talks can go to shit in a second.

Maybe just talk. Pretty sure Porter is an Al Haymon guy and JMM is with Top Rank could be some complications there but idk.

It's weird how JMM has never wanted to fight Khan he's turned down a couple offers at least from Khan.
