Fam, there is nothing to sweep under the rug. The amount is questionable and the way he took it is questionable. It's not the substance that is in question it's the amount and how it was administered.

It isn't bad numbers by itself. Anytime you can do half a mil of PPVs that's pretty solid. The problem here is Floyd had a $32 million dollar minimum guarantee lol so the numbers don't add up and whoever is paying him took a big loss. They probably don't give a fuck though since the Pacquiao fight generated eleventeen gazillion dollars

The ppv #'s aren't bad at all, but for what he asks for per fight vs how many ppv buys he will get from here on out, his value went down dramatically. HBO will not give him the money he wants unless they get to match him up,(which Floyd will never allow), and Showtime learned their lesson with that. For a man that claims that he is the face of boxing and everyone is there to watch him, it's sad to see that he got these numbers and people actually lost money on his "last fight."

People may have lost money on that 1 fight as a whole, but I'd go ahead and bet that no one that invested in Floyd's deal lost money on that deal as a whole. A lot of money was made on the Pacquiao & Canelo fights. Guerrero hit 1M buys and the 2 Maidana fights were around 900,000 I believe. I'm sure at the end of the day everyone is fine with how that worked out.

Showtime needs to worry about their non Floyd boxing business because that's where they're likely losing money.

They probably made legit money on just 2 out of 6 fights. They never released ppv numbers on any of the fights unless it was the Canelo or Manny fights because it would have made everyone involved look stupid. With that being said, this was his "last fight." Where were all of his millions of fans at for this one? Was it really Manny's fault that the "fight of the century" was that "boring?" Shit, I've said it a million times, Showtime made him fight Canelo and Showtime made him fight Manny and Showtime did not allow Floyd to fight on CBS for one good legit reason, and that's because they were losing money on Floyd. Millions of dollars on Floyd.

^^^ Fuck outta here, you always crying about Floyd. Noone made him do anything. You come up with so many reasons to talk bad about him its beyond laughable. Face it he beat every fighter convincingly you thought had a chance to beat him. He made "huge Canelo" look like a little kid in the ring cuz he didnt know what to do and made Manny look like a B fighter swinging and missing wildly constantly

In the end its obvious you cant say anything bad about him in the ring so you find stupid shit to say to try to make him look bad lol. Battle Mayweather doesnt see what your saying, get over it already

So. And yes he was forced to fight them. He wasn't going to pass up so much money that he was contracted to do. He had to bring in the numbers and for the most part for what they were paying him he wasn't

What do you think of the boxing world placing chocolito as p4p #1?

I think its too soon, nice to see a little guy get this kind of recognition though, but I'm not ready to call him the best boxer on the planet. I guess the problem is there is no clear number 1 through 3, really. Ward would be #1 except he hasn't beat a good fighter in several years. Rigondeaux would probably be my pick, but he too hasn't fought in a while. Pacquiao obviously almost at the end of his career. Golovkin not there yet until he beats an elite fighter. Kovalev? Klitschko probably even has a solid case.

I don't pay much attention to p4p lists/rankings too much tbh. I don't mind all that much i guess for the same reasons you mentioned and Chocolatito may have just burst on the scene but he has some legitimate wins in his divisions. He's beaten 3 guys that went on to become unified champions, 1 current in Estrada.

I think he has as legit an argument as anyone else currently fighting.
