Wow this Martinez dude just got screwed no way Guerrero won 97-92 when he got knockeed down and was probably trailing going into the later rounds. Looks like Heyman got the fix in

I hate the damn NBC to NBC Sports switch. Missed the entire 2nd round of Cuellar Vs. Darchinyan. If you know you don't have enough time just switch over to NBC Sports.

Yeah wtf is that shit? Really weird.
They did the same thing last event and switched in between the Rodriguez Vs. Baker fight but they didn't miss any action. Just poor execution this time around. I'm glad they switch over and show extra fights, especially fights like Luna Vs. Cruz, just would rather watch the whole thing. Even if it's uneventful.

yee, Cotto just dealt with another middleweight pretty easily. Its just not suppose to happen. Nevermind mistaking Gaele for someone else. Bring on Canelo

Lol the crowd was even laughing at Cotto's response (awkward silence, followed by stuttering) when he was asked about Golovkin. He clearly doesn't want that. Which is cool if he wants to fight Canelo just drop the belt so 160 can unify. Canelo vs Cotto sells on its own no belt required.

Is it fair to say Cotto is #1 on the catchweight p4p list?

He's now 3-1 at catchweights.

I expect his next fight to be a catchweight fight as well.

Canelo's last three fights were at 155 catchweights. His fight with Floyd was a catchweight. He won his title off a 150 pound catchweight against 147 pound Matthew Hatton and he had a few other random ones. He's like 7-1 in catchweight fights. If Cotto and Canelo fight I bet they argue for weeks on the catchweight and it will end up something absurdly specific like 156.8, cannot weigh in less than 3 ounces with a rehydration clause of 2.65 pounds.

Yeah it was a great shot following the hard headbutt but I thought everyone expected a Cotto knockout, 157 pound catchweight, hasn't fought since getting destroyed by Golovkin I never thought Geale would put up much of a fight. Hopefully Golovkin enters the ring and pulls some WWE tactics
Actually Geale won his last fight before this one. Got Em!!

I would actually crown Pac king of catchweights lol. Got Em!!

I sure know Manny and Margarito fought at 150 for a welterweight title which is pretty pathetic when neither actually held the title
Yeah and that's on the WBC for pushing for it to be for the vacant WBC title even though neither were ranked there, otherwise it would have been at 147 where it belonged. WBC only wants that 3% or whatever number they collect. Too bad Jose's son is just as bad, I was hoping when the slime ball died things would change a little. I saw him hugging and kissing Cotto after the fight on Saturday, you know he said "don't worry Miguel, we won't make you fight your mandatory in Golovkin. Go get the ginger, get us paid!"
