I remember seeing someone saying that they used this site to try out lenses. I think that I am going to rent some equipment to fuck around and try out a few things that I might want to own. Prices for rentals look pretty good. Anyone ever rent equipment?

Thats right it was you. I think I'm going to rent some lighting equipment. Last time I misread and thought you had to pickup everything, but thats only for 3 day rentals. I'm looking at getting the power pack and some strobes or that ABR800 for a week or two to do some work for my people and experiment. Whats being a member do?

I think you get discounts, and priority on rentals and first dibs on new stuff.

Love this place though people are real nice there. You dont have to pick up there either, they have places in San Jose and SF too that are their distributors.

That's like a budget photographers fuckin dream. Right now I just don't want to drop a few bills on equipment that I won't have time to use. I'm going to have the shit fedex'd to me and I will keep that shit for 2 weeks to do a few projects I need to do as well as experiment.

used them couple times before without any problems. haven't done the shipping route tho; always picked up the lenses in person.
