is it relevant to your life's decisions at all?

if i was giving millions to this guy i better hope he can run and chase down rb's who cut around the pocket or if a blocker doesnt block them. or a olineman who can run almost alongside the rb and lay td spreeing blocks 10 yards from scrimmage

The 40 yd dash doesnt so much matter for the OL & DL but what they look for in that drill from those positions is the 10 yd and 20 yd....

10 yd basically shows how much burst they have off the line and for O linemen the 20 is to see if you got the speed to pull.....for the d line if they have the speed to close on tha bacc at the line of scrimmage...

the 3 cone and the shuttle are to test agility

sure it matters. For D-line after you shed a block and get down the LOS. For O-Line how quickly you can pull and get to the second level for blocks on LBs.
