40 Ounce Records Announces Distribution Deal With Navarre Corporation

Vallejo, CA – April 14, 2003 – 40 Ounce Records has teamed up with Navarre Corporation (Nasdaq: NAVR), a leading distributor and publisher of a broad range of home entertainment and multimedia software products, for an exclusive 3 year distribution agreement. Navarre Corporation is best known in urban music circles as being the home to Riviera/D3 Entertainment (Insane Clown Posse, C-Murder, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard) as well as their latest addition West Coast Mafia Entertainment (C-Bo, Killa Tay).

Based in Vallejo, California, 40 Ounce Records has been a leader in the West Coast independent music scene for the past five years. 40 Ounce Records’ senior management includes C.E.O./President James Trujillo, better known as Jay Tee, Executive Consultant Brandon C. Rodegeb, better known as B-12 and Marketing Coordinator Lisa Donahue.

Jay Tee’s long-standing musical career began as the front man of the Platinum selling rap group N2DEEP. He then became part of the Latino rap super-group Latino Velvet with Baby Beesh, Frost, and Don Cisco. Jay Tee has sold over 2.5 million albums and has gone on to establish himself as one of the most well-known names and faces in the underground rap community through his collaborations and appearances.

GOOD LUCK!

That's a cool deal Tee i guess the only bad thing or side to all this for all of us i can surely speak is that now we have to wait another 3 WHOLE MONTHS to get High Calliber but i guess when it comes down to business its worth the wait money makes the world go round and u need it to survive in this game anyway keep up the good work and projects u are bringing out we all appreciate the hard work and effort u put into each album u put out.
