what you thought you were talking about is called a prototype, mixerr
but you must not have watched your own video because theres people in all those cars lol

the only cars that didnt have a passenger went no more than 8 feet on the video, thats called a ghostrode car

you can control a cars motion by a laptop if you didnt know that

i could start your moms car from my house if i wanted to and make it crash into a tree

lol you didnt even watch the video you were trying to prove something with

Well eventually that's the way it's going to be and it's going to be so much safer. It's a process and it will take time to perfect it but we're already close, just look at the Google cars and their insanely good track record. The trucking industry has been moving in this direction for quite some time now and commercial planes pilot themselves the vast majority of time. Eventually we'll get to the Demolition Man status where all cars are self driving and the benefits are huge. Human drivers are terrible generally speaking, computers are much safer. I understand it's kinda scary to think about now having a computer drive for you but honestly if you really think about it, its far less scary than all of the random life threatening shit that happens every minute on our roads due to human error - 1.3 million people die each year in vehicles which is absolutely insane if you really digest that number.

GasOne, I wasn't trying to fail. I knew there were people inside of the Google vehicle. My purpose for this news video was to expose there were people inside the vehicle and the vehicle was not being self-driven electronically by itself. By that I mean I was trying to prove there were people inside. That's why I titled my video that way. So I did watch my own video.

Not everyone knew that. So I'm explaining myself here.

I agree with almost everything you said. Humans being inept at driving or negligent is one thing. But I have worked with electronics for the better part of 15 years as my vocation, including working on military grade electronics, and I can't tell you how many times someone has said "that doesn't make any damn sense that [this piece of equipment] would do that?" or something along those lines and have a major catastrophic failure, temporary bug, or ongoing bug for months that miraculously just goes away. This is the same company that also writes the software for phones that have a horrible track record before and after updates. So they are either purposely making crappy software and intend to really nail the self driving car electronics/software, or they're just as inept at making software as people are at driving. It's also only a matter of time before they become as inept/negligent at making the said software as they are at driving. Most accidents occur within 15 miles from home because people have driven around their homes so much, they are comfortable and stop paying attention as much. Just wait til these cars are rolling off the assembly line. Even Toyota was making cars that were flying down the highway and couldn't stop a few years ago, and they've been in business for decades.
