Congrats to all the long time Warrior fans on here. I remember the old Warrior threads use to be nothing but venting after losses, draft talk, hopes of who Dubs would trade for, injury talk, and Laker fans comin in to talk shit. It feels damn good to be a Warrior fan right now! 4 more wins (in Leandro Barbosa voice) "We gonna be championship!"

This day has been a long time coming... in grade school I grew up with the Mullin - Hardaway area... then it drifted into hella years of questionable draft picks like Andrew DeClercq. Warriors for years would seem to develop talent, and wouldn't retain them. No matter what, they were my team - and feels great to stick with a team so long, and witness this season, knowing damn well in my heart i'm the furthest from bandwagon.

Seasons like this is what retains talent, brings in free agents - brings the franchise major revenue. The owners and general manager have been making great choices - the type of choices that could have GSW in deep playoff runs for years to come. All we need is that championship, but whatever happens, this was a spectacular season.

Green is about to have the series of his life vs. LeBron... Lebron has coasted through this playoff verse no teams with remotely anyone that can guard him (the east is so weak). I don't think Green will shut him down - but hopefully slow him down a bit. I'm not confident in Klay or Iguodala guarding Lebron though.

Green is dope on defense and Iggy is still a good defender but you have to remember Lebron is the best basketball player of this century, neither one of them will shut him down....they just have to harass him in iso and the rest of the squad has to cut off the dump off passes when he drives. half of me wants Kyrie to be healthy so we get two of the best PGs against each other in the finals but the Warriors fan in me wants him to limp into the playoffs cuz Lebron will have trouble doing it all himself. but Draymond is gonna have to play PF/C cuz the Cavs have been starting two centers (Mozgov & Thompson) for most of the playoffs since Love got hurt. Green can switch to James when the Cavs go small (Lebron at the 4 & 2 SGs on the floor) but the dubs like to go small too and have Green at the 5. Harrison Barnes is gonna get worked.
