I think Chavez meant to say he thought he was 'winning' the fight, vs. he thought he 'won'. (english/spanish language barrier)

Either way Chavez looks dumb as shit, and needs to focus on being great in the gym, not just being famous.

Chavez isn't made for 175. Power isn't there and he can't bully people at the weight. Fonfara looked real good, took advantage of every dumb thing JCC Jr did (which was plenty). He needs to get his ass in shape and that post fight interview was completely ridiculous. LOL @ wanting a rematch but at 170 because 172 is too much for me. Insane.

Good night of fights all around.

The curse of Al Haymon continues...
Anyone know how much Chavez got tonight? I guarantee it wasn't $7 million.

Obviously in hindsight, Chavez should have took that one fight extension from Top Rank. $7-$10 million for Golovkin with a minimum of $5 in his next fight if he lost, and $10 million if he won. He could have lost to GGG, then fought a complete bum and it would be $5 million. Now his stock fell big time. His career isn't over by any means, but he's got some work to do to get back to. Huge paydays.

Also Carl Froch is effected by this as well dropping his title to hold out for a Chavez fight that's out the window. So Froch's options now are Ward rematch, or Golovkin.

Damn Ruslan pissing out blood/black urine:

Not sure if he realizes but this is pretty concerning. Stiverne was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis after the Wilder fight when he pissed black liquid. This is a condition where your muscle fibres die and are being released into your blood.

Rhabdomyolysis is a condition in which the muscle fibers die and are released into the blood stream. One of the causes is extreme physical exertion. Stiverne was severely dehydrated even in the days leading up to his bout with Wilder, and after the fight, his urine was a brown color.

"There were [doping control] agents there and I had to do my post-fight test, and I noticed that my urine was very dark," Stiverne said. "I thought it was blood. I called my manager [Camille Estephan] and [trainer Don] House over and told them. But when I got to the hospital, I found out it wasn't blood. It was from the muscle damage."

I hope that's not the case for Ruslan.

Nah I think he really meant what he said. At first when the fight was stopped I assumed the ref did it on his own, just like everyone else. But later they showed he was the one who quit. So if you think you are winning why quit? him saying he won is more in line with his delusional behavior. and I agree 100% about him looking dumb and his priorities.

Nope, is it worth the download?
Wasn't the greatest fight of the night, but I download nearly everything so you're probably asking the wrong person. If you're not interested in either guy, probably not.

Was good to see Escandon not get another ridiculous decision, this somehow was another split decision, like he got against Tyson Cave on ESPN recently.
