what about the church in the finale?

what about the numbers??

WHAT ABOUT THE NUMBERS EMMA!!
The church was in the purgatory/parallel universe after everybody had died in real life. They all died at different times; some lived long, full lives... others died as we saw on the show.

After everybody died, they ended up in that purgatory, in a place where time didn't really exist (so it didn't matter that they died at different times). In the final season, we saw flashes of an alternate reality as everybody worked through their own personal issues before they were ready to move on.

Because the time they spent together on the island was "the most important" time in any of their lives, when they were ready, they reunited in the church to move on to whatever peaceful afterlife was waiting for them. Or something to that effect.

This show is getting out of hand. Too many people overreacting which ends up making it feel overrated. The acting is top notch as is the writing but it just feels corny for me. They had me up until this season, now I am just watching to see how it ends.
I propped u on this because I'm sick and fucking tired of all the people on facebook who just started watching this show right before the new episodes started, and then after each new episode go 'WOOOW breaking bad is fucking crazy!"

yeah of course its crazy! now shut the fuck up about it and keep it to yourself! besides, what does posting that do?

anyway, "Ozymandias", 2 episodes previous (no. 14) is one of the best episodes in the whole series. the year long wait was definitely worth it, and each episode gets better and better. fuck trying to make a prediction, because I'm pretty sure NO ONE has predicted anything right about this show thus far. edit: i just scrolled back a few pages and read B-Buzz's post quoting Vince Gilligan that this was the best episode ever. I said that right after that episode ended and I still agree.

Never has a show, or even movie, played with and changed my emotions in so many ways, and not just about plot, but character (which is the real heart of the show).

and LOL @ someone making an hour long clip of Huell waiting.

now, for a couple of points I have to make after reading the last few page.

Gomez definitely had his character scaled back and barely talked in the last few episodes. I thought at first that maybe they did that because of the "strained" relationship Hank has with the rest of his office, but after reading some of your guys' speculation that he was pissed off about his character's impending death, I can see that it did affect his acting. The writers were probably like "ok, he's pissed? why not just make him pissed in each episode?" all he has to do is stare jesse down anyway. It's too bad because Hank and Gomez's back and forth banter was perfect for their cop relationship, and definitely balanced out Hank's seriousness. Needless to say, opening up the episode with Gomez just being dead was definitely anti-climactic for his character, but good for the show.

Also, I too, at first thought Walt was dumb as fuck, two-fold, for bargaining for Hank's life with that money. The first part was that telling them about the money, they would just kill Hank and take it anyway. Secondly, Walt had to know that the AB guys were looking to save their own asses, and so killing Jesse, with the two DEA agents he was working with, was a double bonus. Money or not, they would have killed Hank. But that's not bad writing, that's to show that Walt isn't still in it for the money, and feels some responsibility for Hank potentially (at the time) being killed. It more importantly shows that Walt is human, and is subject to making mistakes, and isn't just the ruthless person we come to assume he is at the end of every episode. that instead makes it GREAT writing, because it keeps us on our toes and makes the show what it is, unpredictable.

What about when they found the plane underwater with all the bodies in it? Did you read that somewhere or is this your theory

It's not my theory; it was stated very clearly in the final episode that everything that happened on the island was real.

Charles Widmore staged the plane wreckage that was found underwater; this was also stated clearly in the show.
