Man, Longest Yard was pretty legit actually. Forgot about that movie for some reason and I just watched it again recently. That might be one of my top 2 or 3 favorites by him.

did anyone watch Funny People, I think it was called? It looked marginally decent

I watched Zohan for like 5 minutes and that was way too lame. Couldn't do it. Haven't seen Just go with it (I think that's what it's called?) but shouldn't need any more reason than Brooklyn Decker being in that movie.

Wedding Singer is really the only movie i like of his and mainly thats cus it's set in the 80's.

In real life he is a giant fag, a right wing neocon Zionist asshole. Dude is a giant douche.

Most of his movies are garbage. Yeah Wedding Singer and Happy Gilmore pretty good beyond that some pathetic "comedies" like dont mess with the zohan, little nicky, etc.

If I had to choose an actor of this caliber of kinda funny, hit and miss, I'd take ben stiller over sandler any day. There's something about mary >>>> Sandlers career.

Funny People is not actually a Funmy movie its more serious and depressing. Sandler has attempted several serious roles lately, the 9/11 movie cant remember the name that really are bad. Funny people has some funny parts in it, but not by Sandler - seth rogan and jonah hill, but sandler plays a deeply depressed character.

I only saw about 15 minutes of it and caught some of the depressing part and a couple funny things. Seemed like it might be a decent movie even if wasn't funny

Gayer than Victor Ortiz? j/k

I would say that most of his movies aren't very good but he's had some pretty entertaining movies. Ben Stiller has some hilarious stuff and some really awful movies too, good reference. Did you ever used to watch that Ben Stiller show back in the day? I forgot about that til just now for some reason.

I didn't think Something about Mary was that great even though the Farrelly brothers made a couple of the best comedies ever. I thought Tropic Thunder was way funnier than TSAM

Really? I thought Tropic Thunder got too much into the "action comedy" towards the second half of the movie. There's something about marry has way too many classic scenes imo.

Ben Stiller movies are best when he's like a George Castanza from Seinfeld in the sense that its not necessarily him being funny but the hilarious fucked up shit that happens to him and his reactions to it. Like even Along Came Polly was lightweight funny cus of the shit that kept happening to him.

Happy Gilmore
Billy Madison
The Waterboy

And some others are at least mildly entertaining, and a lot of garbage too. I still watch all his movies at least once though, I guess just based on the strength of those 3 that I saw over and over again as a youngster with my friends

Sorry...have you met Adam is what i meant.
Nah, I was referring to his politics, his words and his actions by donating money to Israel's "war on terror" aka the oppression of Palestinians, donations to the Republican party, etc. Maybe he's a really nice guy to be around, I just meant his conservative nature and blind support of Israelis atrocities sicken me.
