I, for one, am not trippin at all. Yes its a big loss, in my eyes, its not even an argument, this is not Kaeps team, this is not Crabbys team, this is Frank Gores team

As long as we got that mean running game, Boldin at 1 Manningham at 2 Patton at 3 is not a bad look at all.

Wishin Crabby a fast recovery

Crabtree had some big catches for us last year and him and kappy where clicking. every year he has been with us his numbers have been getting better and he was a top WR in the NFL last year.

boldin and manningham are nice but they are not over 1000 yards and 9 touchdowns nice

lol Crabtree will now have missed as many games as hes played
You know what? Ya god damm right and Id put money he comes back better than ever because although i hate his punk ass personality, he talked all that shit after this year and now he cant back it up until Nov-Dec..... I think the psychological effects of that will pay off long run for the 49ERS

Plus its not like back in the day when he lost one WR it meant some one of Ted Ginn type caliber became our No 1 wide receiver.

Boldin is 33 not 25 so to expect the exact same numbers as crabby last year at our 1 slot possibly, possibly could be unrealistic, but

Boldin is mos definetly stronger than crabby, their both possession WR's, neither are that fast, boldin can out muscle fools for the deep ball hella better than crabby

Either way, bottom line

Gore Boldin and Davis are literally gonna fuck some people up this coming season

The situation sucks for fans and Crabtree. He's in no spot to ask for big money at this point. Nowadays, most players recover from season ending injuries like nothing and keep performing at a high level, but it's still an injury and it's not a guarantee he will be the same player. I'm confident he will return and tear it up, but talking money, it will still cost him. Crabtree won't be getting the big money he would've at the end of this season had he stayed healthy.
