What movie did you just watch and what did you think?

just watched Harry Brown with Michael Cain. It was sort of slow to start, but eventually it picked up nicely. Nothing great, but worth the watch.

I also watched 50 Dead Men Walking...it was very good. It is a true story about a guy who infiltrated the IRA in the 80s as a spy for Britain. I really dug this movie...

i was hella sleepin for not watchin it before, i probably wouldnt have got it if i watched it back when it first came out though, either way it gets a 8.9 on the slapp meter

fuck, this to me is a clasicc fucking movie. story, plot. this shit reminds me of the crazy shit i done. like them crazy stories where your like "this should be a fucking movie". ya, that shit. clasicc lines, white russians and fucking bowling.

Star Trek (the new one)

Pretty good. They did a good job re-introducing characters. I thought some of the throw in lines were extra cheese ball and just got wedged in there "Are you out of your Vulcan mind?" etc. Special effects were done well. Decent action. A novel way to reboot a franchise. Nothing stood out as far as quality acting or anything, but it wasn't expected. I had low expectations about the movie as a whole so I guess it wasn't hard to exceed them.

Just watched The Man from Earth. From the writer of the Twilight Zone, Jerome Bixby, he finished this on his death bed. I would recommend this movie if you have any interest in the explanation of man, philosophy, or enjoy movies with solely dialogue. With that said this was entertaining script that raises an interesting question. It isn't the best acting, and yes I am sure there are plenty of areas to nitpick but for 90 minutes, I think its very worth your time.

The Goods: Live Hard Sell Hard

I don’t like Jerimy Priven. I got a few chuckles which is more than I expected with this movie. Had very low expectations. Quite the ansemble cast with people I didn’t know where in it. Not outstanding by any means, but I got a few chuckles. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone as anything other than a time waister with a few moderate laughs, but like I said it was better than I thought it would be . . . 3 out of 5

yeah that movie is dope. i like Christian Bale's more independant movies like Harsh Times, The Machinist, American Psycho.


I watched the movie Traffic with Benicio Del Toro, Michael Douglas, Steven Baur(dude from Scarface) and it was dope. i like the way it was from different point of views but was all about the same thing kinda like Crash.

it was real cool what Del Toro's character did in exchange for the info when his partner was gonna give it for money. but i hated the daughter of Michael Douglas' character.

i recommend this movie 4.5/5
