Los Angeles artist on the rise, Ty Dolla $ign is fresh off the release of his new mixtape Beach House 2. Today, Wiz Khalifa and Ty make the official announcement that he has signed to Wiz’ Taylor Gang imprint.
The O.N.I.F.C. announced his new signing during a sit-down with Karen Civil.
“This dude right here, he makes amazing music, I’m a huge fan, been a huge fan, so it’s only right that Ty Dolla $ign joins Taylor Gang,” Wiz said.
Hailing from Los Angeles, Ty Dolla $ign first came to mainstream attention on YG’s 2010 hit, ‘Toot It and Boot It.’ Since then, he’s collaborated with big names like Chris Brown, Young Jeezy and Tyga, as well as West Coast favorites Dom Kennedy, Pac Div and Kid Ink.
Also part of the D.R.U.G.$. production crew, Ty signed a major label deal with Atlantic Records in October 2012 — the same day he released his ‘Beach House‘ mixtape. Just yesterday (July 1), he followed-up with ‘Beach House 2,’ featuring appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, B.o.B, Juicy J and more.
