Twista releases cover for “Throwin’ My Money” featuring R. Kelly

Though Twista has been around since 1992, most did not find out about him until late in 2003. Kanye West emerged in the fall of 2003 and he produced Twista’s “Slow Jamz” single with Jamie Foxx and himself. The song topped Billboard and helped Twista become a mainstream star.

Twista kept himself going in 2004, starting the year off with the release of Kamikaze, which was released to positive reviews. Among the features on his album was fellow 1992 Chicago rookie, R. Kelly. Their “So Sexy” single was released in the summer of 2004 and was a major hit.

Nine years after the fact, Twista and R. Kelly have reunited. Coming up next from Twista is his Dark Horse album. The second single off the album is “Throwin’ My Money,” which is soon to be released. Before the official single release, Twista released the official cover for the single.
