Trick Daddy was arrested outside Miami on Thursday night after police found cocaine and a handgun in his home. The rapper, whose real name is Maurice Young, was stopped on a “sniff warrant” by the Broward County Drug Task Force outside his house as he was getting into his car.
According to an arrest affidavit acquired by NBC 6, the “Let’s Go” rapper admitted he had drugs inside the residence, and a search discovered 1g of cocaine as well as a 9mm Sig Sauer and a box of ammunition.
Police charged Young with possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, and driving with a suspended license. He was booked and released on $6,100 bond.
