Emerging RNB artist TJ BOYCE, straight outta Houston, Texas has teamed up with West Coast Hip-Hop newcomer PROBLEM bringing back that South West music connection (Houston and Cali) with their single entitled “Party”. The two was introduced while Problem was visiting Houston by a mutual associate. A few hours later the two were in the studio lacing the track produced by Phil Moore a.k.a. “The Penguine” with additional vocals by RAH from TJ Boyce’s imprint ABDU Entertainment.
TJ Boyce has been hard at work in the studio gearing up for the release of his debut EP entitled “The Life” set for release on Tuesday January 28, 2014. “I was suppose to release this EP a while ago but I’m glad I waiting so I can produce a project that represents the real me,” explains TJ Boyce. “What people don’t realize is I use to do Hip-Hop before I starting just doing RNB. I’ve always been a rapper who could sing and people liked when I would sing full on songs and that’s is how I got into RNB. But I don’t feel complete as an artist and representing the real me unless I combine the two. On this EP I’m doing just that instead of my original plan of doing a straight RNB record. If I would of done that I would have put myself in a box musically”, further explains TJ Boyce. “The Life” will have an eclectic array of music with Hip-Hop and RNB fused tracks such as the “Party” single featuring Problem, “Cuz I Ball”, and “Been Around The World” mixed with RNB favorites such as “She Drive Em Crazy”, “Let It Go”, “Shut It Down” and “This Is The Life”. “The Life” EP will be available in both CD and digital formats. The CD release will include bonus tracks previously released such as TJ’s debut hit release “No Panties”, follow up single “It’s On”, and “Burn Down The Bedroom”, which charted at #1 on iHeart Radio‘s Top 20 on Demand.
