Because of the number of stars the city has produced, Houston is considered to be the primary hip hop outlet in Texas. However, Texas has an overall vibrant hip hop scene and they had it all out for display in Austin at SXSW 2013. One artist who made a standout appearance was Snow Tha Product, of Dallas.
Over the past year, Snow Tha Product has become a fixture on the Texas hip hop scene and has built an internet following. Last year, Snow Tha Product released her breakout mixtape, Good Nights & Bad Mornings. The mixtape received much acclaim and has opened doors for her.
Tonight, Snow Tha Product will help launch The Fight to Unite Tour in Tuscon, Arizona, a tour that will span 24 cities. Before the tour ends on May 5, Snow Tha Product will perform alongside Kottonmouth Kings, Deuce, Dizzy Wright, and Eskimo Callboy. The tour will be hitting several cities.
