Shade Sheist doesn’t believe in conventional methods of promotion. In fact he doesn’t believe in any promotion, as today he releases a brand-new single entitled “You Already Know Who It Is,” much to the surprise of his fans across the globe. The UMG alumnus recently made Hip Hop news with the release of his comeback single “Back N The Building,” which saw a recent release date of just over a month ago. This smooth new single features Shade Sheist’s signature vocal growl against a beautiful soundscape produced by himself and Slovakian composer Aceman. Many will immediately recognize the interpolated drum pattern made famous by 80’s funk group Mtume, the same group who produced the infectious sample used in Shade’s 2003 hit with Nate Dogg, “Wake Up.” The new track serves as the third official single from Shade Sheist’s upcoming solo album “BLACKOPS” and premieres today simultaneously on ShadeSheist.net, MTV.com, Pandora Radio and the newly-relaunched Myspace social network. Shade Sheist, who has seen international fame from his work which includes a #1 single “Where I Wanna Be” with Nate Dogg and Kurupt, is currently arranging dates for a limited engagement international tour to celebrate the release of his upcoming lp “BLACKOPS.” Venues in Australia, Japan, China and The United Kingdom so far have expressed interest in hosting Shade’s return to their respective countries.
