Geto Boys are said to be in talks to record a new album and are currently performing spot dates in select cities. Recent shows include ICP’s The Gathering of the Juggalos Festival in Cave Rock, Illinois and Return of the Legends with Ice Cube in Detroit. They will perform in San Antonio at Backstage Live on December 21st for a concert and party entitled, “End of the World.” They will also hit the stage in Austin, Texas at Emo’s East on January 26, 2013. The show will be streamed live Pay-Per-View to a worldwide audience.
“The shows that we’re doing are really fan appreciation styled, said Willie D. It’s unfortunate that we’ve performed less than ten shows together in the past ten years. Since we’re only doing select dates and won’t be playing abroad any time soon, the live streaming will give our fans around the world a deserved opportunity to experience what it’s like to witness a GB performance in real time action.”
