ZION-I REMIX CONTEST!
Remixers and fans! You can create a new version of the song, "DJ DJ", upload it to the widget and vote or have your friends vote for your remix at a chance to win great prizes from Zion I and The TakeOver campaign.
As part of their plan to Take Over the airwaves in '09, Zion I wants to give you, their fans a chance to get in on some of the spoils. Next Feb 12, 2009, we are launching a remix contest using an innovative new widget from MixMatchMusic that gives fans access to the stems, or individual parts that make up "DJ DJ" from upcoming album, The TakeOver. MixMatch Music provides a basic production interface with remixing software built right in so you can remix within your own browser. You can even embed favorite versions on various social networks.
We will be choosing three of our favorites for a variety of prizes including track placement on Zion I web pages and mixes, rare Zion I merchandise, autographed discography, & more. Look for details and official rules coming soon. Deadline for submissions is March 1, 2009. Go ahead and give it a try by registering at MixMatchMusic.
The TakeOver will be out February 17th on Live Up Records/Gold Dust.
