Here's a Zen story I enjoyed and just wanted to share:
A Zen Master stood and watched as a bunch of soldiers came marauding into the monastery. The captain noticed that the Zen Master was not afraid and said, "Do you know who I am? I could thrust this sword right through you and I wouldn't think twice about it!" The Zen Master then replied, "Do you know who I am? You could thrust this sword right through me and I wouldn't think twice about it."
