The pictures look to be at about 72 DPI right now.

The final covers should be at 300 DPI, so to be able to do that we need the pictures to be at 300 DPI.

If you need to, you should talk to the people printing the covers and they could probably explain it better.

what Sik is tryin to tell ya is that industry standard for offset printing is 300 dpi ... you will have to stretch and enlarge the 72 dpi pics to even design the cover at sufficient resolution... and when that is done, the cover will most likely look like shit (pixelation, blurry images) and will defeat the purpose of having someone do a nice design. It's mandatory to start with a photo that is at or damn near at 300 dpi in order to achieve success with the design.

file quality

there is a file attachment size & pixel dimension limit
on the board, so unless RIPP hosted the pix himself
(or thru sum1 else)
hes limited 2 what kinda pix he can give us...
but i agree with SIKINDIVIDUOH......

the pix are COO 4 juss a cover.....
(if their pixel dimensions are big enuff)
u can pull it off without lookin like shit....
but when it comes 2 stuff like posters
and shit bigger than 4.75x4.75
(album cover)
ure gonna run into horrid pixelation
regardless, my entry will be turned in inna few days...
