I DVR'd when it was on a few weeks back and it made me remember why I don't watch SNL. His whole opening was from his regular standup and the skits during the show were TERRIBLE.

SNL can turn someone funny like Zach unfunny apparently pretty easy.

True, but most of the audience (in studio and on television) have never seen his stand up (or Between Two Ferns, where he used the Charlize Theron joke.) I've seen other hosts that do stand up do the same thing.
