Them scraps is turning there shit into a FAD, brain washing the younger generations that being a scrap is coo. Even the black an white kids be talkin about that foo know, They all tryin to dress like hime know. Ey an i seaw that i aint lieing but in the last month or so people been taggin shat around my negborhood like "LIL KRIS 3CE" or "SOUTH LAND 3CE" an the negborhood i live in is alright not even that getto. in the gang lifestyle, things will always look bad before good i think. most g's ain't all optimistic.
and with the emerging norteno artists, it will turn Norte into a fad just like Nortelado was talking about with lil rob.
there will be a bunch of fakers making the name look bad for norte, but i think it is inevitable. i love what woodie and other norteno artists are doing, but it can be just as good as it is bad for the Norteno's as a whole.
also, scraps are growing in numbers, prolly cause they accept alot of fools whether they should be accepted by any gang or not. now with lil rob and other fools makin a come up in this game, you gonna have alot more people jumpin sides with scrapas. shit just looks bad for the future of gangs altogether at this point. i think there will be changes in laws for known gang members soon also. i can see an attitude now with this homeland security thing that goes past foreign terrorism, but at gangs and other organizations that threaten the civil peace in this country. that could be worse than just leaving thing how they are cause then you are gonna have homies shooting at cops for no reason and other organizations and things will just escalate. of course this is all speculation, but that is my take on it

"The future of gangs doesn't look good."

HAHAHA what an ignorant statement. Since when did the future of a gangster ever look good??

And Norte Lado, that's the funniest signature I've ever seen. I damn near had a heart attack..

Yo Chris--I left a long question on the board "@ChrisDogg" about homeland security and how it works. How you gonna be able to work for homeland defense and make sure local cops in New York don't mess you up for not knowing you not a criminal but a Christian soldier now?

or PROBABLY just POSSIBLY it's because he never comes across one and that is the last thing on his mind and he has no reason to mention something so far-removed from his life on a rap album. Don't get me wrong lil rob doesnt strike me as a real ass gangster WHATSOEVER but he is from San Diego and therefore has slim to zero chances of ever meeting a Norteno down there. I do agree he is a suckelle Chris but for other reasons (cause he just sucks). But do you really think an artist has to make his business on the street known or announce his rivals on his album to NOT be a sucka?

@leader
i just think it is hella funny that he does claim to be a sewereno, but doesn't even let it be known. he prolly never has seen a norteno, but if he is gonna claim that shit in his hood, why not say it on an album. i think he is doing his homeboys an injustice by doing that, that makes him a sucka to me. but also like i said, he only says san diego or 619 like 5 times that whole album

I don't know how it is in San Diego but in LA, area codes don't mean a whole hell of alot. They seem to matter more up north and everywhere else in the country for that matter. Lil Rob doesn't owe anyone anything and as an artist I actually respect the fact that he doesnt bang on wax. What shit do you say he claims in his hood? Being a Sureno? As I have said many a times it aint all that big a deal to be a Sureno south of Bakersfield... it's about neighborhoods first and foremost unless you are an ex-con. Him not reppin his supposed gang on his album is probably a smart move if he really hopes to dip in the mainstream. He seems soft anyway I cannot see anyone fearing or respecting Lil Rob. Who knows tho.

my homie is in the marines and is stationed in san diego. I went over there to visit him like two years ago and his roomate had a lil rob cd. it has a bunch of cholos kicking it in a park. then when you open it it has southern califas tagged with san diego on bottom. it is a huge tag on the side of the wall and he is leaning on the wall. he said that he was a cholo from san diego but that he changed his life so he wasnt gonna trip on me. he told me that cholos from san diego hated on lil rob and that they would hit up squares that would bump him. he said that cholos hated him cause he was too much of a gimmick and he made diego look bad. he also said that the only ppl that would bump him n e ways were squares and scraps!!!!!!!! that shit tripped me out cause even he called most northern based surenos as scraps. he is kind of like what snoop dog is like to crips. he is a gimick that only gets respect (on being a gangster) from squares. most bangers can see right through the bullshit. the reason that he said scraps up here would bump him is caused they dont shit about what a sureno is (he pretty much said what leader said of how norte is not a factor till you get locked up) and that they only like him cause he reps southern cali. so over look the fact that he sucks and that he looks like a cranked out Lupillo Rivera.

personally I wonder where the road is going to go with the norte sur war that is happening in northern cali. I trip cause every time I think scraps up north are gonna get heart, I run into a handfull that deny banging when they get hit up. plus when some pop off and get a gang going. half of them get run out the town and the few that remain split into the whole mexican or salvadorian or cuban ethnicity trip.

@leader just a question (and I am being serious) it sounds stupid but I was wondering on the whole maravilla thing. if a group of them got relocated up north cause of law enforcement. would they be warring with the surenos up here. you know cause up here surenos stress the whole sur thing. or would they get along cause the scraps dont know about what sur is. cause I know when some fools from Oxnard got put up north cause of law enforcement they got along with one scrap gang over here and didnt get along with another cause they let cubans in their gang. hope the ? makes sense.

Lil Rob getting airplay has to do with his labels clout and his very commercial single.

And I dont see how he doesnt let it be known where hes from. On the cover of his first cd SAN DIEGO is written across the cover. Mostly every song I hear about he says San Diego, has a song called Sureno Blues, another song called S.A.N. D.I.E.G.O and his single, he says "Viva Colonia, Southern California" so how much more reppin do you want him to do?

I guess cuz were from Northern Cali that were used to hear bangin on wax on every song like Mr. Doc Lynch and Raided. But even Raided wasnt stressing that on Unforgiven.

@Norte Lado
Your signature is tight but that dude with the LA hat looks more like a frightened field worker than a Sureno.
