I went in to get some pizza and have a beer . . .anyway me and 2 friends got a big ass pizza, had a beer and the guy who's managing the place turns out I graduated w/ him and we never see eachother that much anymore . . . . he's super cool and I always laugh my ass off when we've hung out in the past . . . ANYWHO
We walked in the restaurant at like 11:45pm and after asking him if it's alright to get something to eat he says, "don't worry we close at midnight but you're fine . . ." so I have a beer and since we haven't really talked much in the last 4 years (since graduation) he starts offering me beer, "c'mon have a beer w/ me relax"
So our bill comes and I realize that his girlfriend (the waitress) didn't charge me for the 2 beers I drank (my two friends arent' 21). . . so our $20 bill got paid and we left $10 tip . . . good deal right ?
As we're leaving he says, "i'm stayin open for a while, why don't you sit around, you need another Michelob Light?" Of course i say . . hell why not
I have 2 more beers and we bullshit about old times . . . We get up to leave and he says, "hey did Kelly (his girlfriend/ the waitress) get you for those 2 beers" I'm like . . . ohh do I owe money?
He says . . . yeah it's $4.50, i give him $5 and we call it a night . . . as soon as i get in my car me and my 2 friends are stunned how weird it was. I mean we were ready to leave and he offered for us to stay and drink a couple . . .
I guess he's worked there for like 8 years and maybe he didn't wanna "steal" free beer for me, but what my question is . . . is that stealing really to give out a couple draught beers to a good highschool friend ?? I mean damn at my bar it's nothin to give a beer out . . . but hey maybe I'm immoral
