I'd say Sean T and Rob Lo produced the tightest shit in 2002.

Rob Lo "Die Young" The Mash sample was tight!! "Target Practice" was the shit also....

Sean T always produces heat, I don't know if he's from the bay but he's definitly going to blow sometime soon. In my opinion some of his tightest beats this year was "I'm Looking" on the Nas and The Game album and Messy Marv "Fo a Life Time".

Femi comes in third for what he did on Mall and Rays new album. "Together", "I keep Hoes Broke", "Bust Ya Guns", "This Game Wuz Made 4 Us" etc... All hard ass beats...
