the 1st time tech performed here was in 2001 at a small ass now closed club. he was wit kutt, kaliko , s&s , bg bulletwound, grant rice, dyno mack & hobo tone, and tech was drunker than ive ever seen him but as soon as the beat for stamina hit he went insta sober honestly it changed my life & outlook on music
2001 i believe, opening for 3 6 mafia in Jefferson City, MO at the college. I was just taking a random ass road trip from MI to St Louis for really no reason with my brother, and we heard about the show on the radio when we got there, just good timing I guess, so we went from STL to Jefferson City. Rougish Ways had just come out and I remember Scoob had a broken ankle or something and he was posted up out on the lawn autographing cds and flats before the show in a lawn chair.
I had alread heard and loved anghellic, but hearing Victory, and Absolute Power played live unreleased at the time was incredible.

I think it was New Years Eve 2004 in Seattle WA. He was playing wit KMK. He went on at midnight and just destroyed it. I think they got into the 3rd song and everyone was pushing the barracade back. So they turned off Techs mic and some guy started saying "If everyone doesn't calm down we will have to shut down the show."
At that point I was thinking if he does this I'm definately going to get the hell out of here becuz this was a rave/concert so alot of people were fucked up drugs and alcohol (of course). It would have just started a big ass riot.
They ended up letting him finishing the show, they just got more security in front.

Aside from hearig him on Sway & King Tech's "The Anthem," I officially became a fan when I copped the OG AngHellic the day it dropped (after reading several reviews).
Had to wait two years before finallyy seeing him in concert. Wicked Wonka tour w/ ICP, Bone Thugs and Kottonmouth Kings in fall 2003. Sept in Minneapolis because I couldn't wait, plus Oct in my hometown Chicago. Those were my first two Tech shows.

i was suppose to see him in 2003 wit ICP and Bone Thugs and stuff. but it sold out so i jsut sat outside. i was talknig to big nick not knowing who he was bout how upset i was that i missed tech. so he was like hold on a min and he had to go inside to walk tech back to the bus. Tech had a broken ankle i think. so like half hour later tech came over and started talking to me with Kutty. then after the show when everone was gone he let me and a few friends hang out on the bus with them.
first time i actually saw him was 2004 GOTJ set was crazy i loved it. then again @ same spot in 2005. later on that year is when i first saw him on his own tour for Everready. When i saw he was coming to Boston i went nuts. waited years to see a tour he headlined.
