tell the truth, i don't know of anything out here for the urban stores...there might be some, but it seems lke the whole city is a strip mall...i seen two cool shops at Boulevard Mall, they reminded me of the shops on Market Street in San Francisco

there's a tape shop called odysey and one called HIP HOP SITE i've only been to HIP HOP SITE and it was on the DJ Tip...
