I'm not the type to argue the point of a song being old / when it was recorded.

None of that should matter if the music is good, it's good no, if, and's, or but's.

I think rap fans in general strongly demand new music from artist in hopes of getting him / her to pull out a classic. Yet, many artist feel they need to put out a album and back to back projects because he / she feels they need to keep their name alive, but these days, it's seems to be more of suicide for many.

I'm in no way saying Droop has produced a classic, I won't go that far, but I will say he's got some good music on this one.

As a rap advocate, I tend to think that many rappers talk about stepping it up, but fail to produce timeless music. Few and far inbetween, there have been a few rap albums that stand the test of time. The rest that we actually thought were tight, we tend to redirect our thoughts the moment we play them again.

Oldies, Rock, Country etc etc...are prime examples, but rap is the only genre of music that is produced in mass quantity and has a lesser shelf / fan life.

dope!

saying droop need to go back to the older days is like telling lynch to do another season of the siccness. artists GOT to move on to new things to stay fresh. if we were oversaturated with the same shit we would in turn complain. wait..
