Heard The Tape?

Have any of you eager/potential buyers heard the album? If not...you'll be very upset if you spent more than $20 for it. IMO the album sucks. I have it and no I won't sell it, but I just thought that you should know. I believe that everybody goes crazy over it based on the fact that it's Dre D, not on the quality of music. He wasn't that good back then and the production is pretty week. I agree with mrsmokealot on this one. The CD or Tape ain't worht much based on the music. I wish that I had the equipement to dowload and upload, so ya'll can finally hear this album. Once again...it's my opinion.

^ huh? Bump produced some ill shit in the early 90's..

A few tracks off 'The Rhythm' tape are cool, but tracks like 'Pain' by Ultimate Sounds, is what i'd imagine the Dre-D tape to be like..

To each is their own though. I was sellin Star Managa's (from Sac, but I'm sure he's actually from Yuba) cds. I reckon it's one of the poorest norcal indie rap efforts I've heard. Yet this Japanese kid was praisin it on his blog he made after hearin that shit.

Do you got the time to record it? Shit, if you're up for it, all you need is a headphone out on your music system, a free line-in on your computer, a mini jack to mini jack lead and I'll send you a super-lite rec. software package.

Lol!

Sippy you gonna have me doin' some McGiver shit. Lol! Hopefully R8R or somebody has it converted already. If so, R8R post it up and let them see what I'm talking about. There's a reason why this CD didn't make the cut for any of R8R's mixtapes. I don't care if Bump produced it or not...it's not good and Dre D's style was wack back then. So wack that I thought that it was somebody else. It sound like they where on some Boyz II Men - New Jack Swing shit or something and Dre D sound like an imitation Shock G from Digital Underground.

More Like...

More like Digital Undergrounds "Same Song". I love Pac, and I love Digital Underground, but lets be serious. That song sucked. It had too...it was made for a movie soundtrack. It was made to reach the masses. All that I'm saying is that it's not the tight shit that you would expect from Dre D. It's just isn't the same dude or music that you would expect from him. I could picture some dancers with baggy pants, sequence belts and shoes and all of that MC Hammerish type of stuff on the stage with Dre D when he made this album. Lol! His lyrical content was subpar. Yes he still had somewhat gangster rhymes, but it just didn't work. Fuck here comes the Hammer...It's more like...Here comes the Drester...Uh Oh...Uh Oh, UhOh, UhOh! Stop.......It Dre D time. Lol!

Don't Forget

Don't forget to post it for others opinions. Like I said...this is my opinion. If you're one of those people who just wants it in your collections coo', but if you're expecting the tape to save your day, then don't do it. Once again...my opinion.
