The rapper Young Buck has been attacked in a drive-by shooting after shots were fired at his car, injuring his girlfriend.
Police in Nashville said eleven shots hit the vehicle, with one grazing Kenyetta Rainey's shoulder.
Local media reported the pair had been involved in an argument at a nightclub shortly before Sunday's attack.
Young Buck, who used to be part of 50 Cent's G-Unit group, was unhurt in the incident.
His girlfriend Kenyetta Rainey was treated in hospital but later released.
Another unnamed man travelling in the car also escaped unhurt.
Police said they were looking for a white Chevrolet Tahoe in connection with the shooting.
Young Buck - real name David Brown - sold more than two million copies of his debut album Straight Outta Cashville, but is currently going through bankruptcy proceedings in the US.
Its thought that the 30-year-old may even have to give up his performing name to pay of his creditors.
