SKYWAY, Wash. -- A 33-year-old man was shot and injured in Skyway early Friday morning and has been released from the hospital, the King County Sheriff's Office said. There have been no arrests in the shooting, however.
The shooting happened at about 2:35 a.m. in the parking lot of the Afriq Club at 12619 Renton Avenue South, police said.
The shooting victim, two women and five other men entered the club and seemed to have a disagreement, police said. As the group walked out of the club, one man pulled a gun and fired several shots, police said. The gunman and the rest of the group fled, police said.
The victim was pacing up and down in front of the club when police arrived, police said. Deputies asked the man if he had been shot and he lifted up his bloodied t-shirt, revealed several fresh bullet wounds and said, "You tell me."
A deputy said the man was shot "perhaps six times."
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center by aid car, despite telling deputies that he was "fine," police said.
