if a black man, any black man, was ever sworn into office, he would do whatever he needs to do to appeal to those that got him into office. And I'm not talking about his constituents.

As a whitesican I can't really comment as to my own personal experience, since I am not black.

But I do think black men have preconceptions about black cops that may affect their idea about how they are/were treated. I'm sure most black men who have dealt with the system have far worse stories about the way they were treated by white cops.

In my experience cops are just like any other group of people - they run the spectrum from good to bad, asshole to chill, etc.

Exactly. In all my encounters with the cops I've been treated FAR more fairly by black cops than white cops. The preconceptions that some blacks have is that they should be shown favoritism or leniency just because they are black, when they don't receive such the cop is labeled an uncle tom or house negro. In fact, any black man or woman in a position of authority or with some sort of prestige is considered a sell out or trying to act white in the black community. The divide and conquer is just another way that the white man keeps the black man ignorant and ununited.

Black cops I've dealt w/ weren't like Bernie Mac, "I hate you Niggers!"

They've actually been kinda helpful. This 1 Black cop got me outta a B.S. DUI and battery charge. Cool-ass Nigga. He knew I was bein' harassed by the "other" cops b/c I was BLack and had nothing to really do w/ the situation. But like White Devil said, "they run the spectrum." Sumtimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not.
