It could have been way worse, agreed. But still hitting him was unnecessary I think.
The dude who hit the other dude already won.
He was 'rapping' and the other dude basically gave it to him by not rapping at all.
Top of that he gave his hat and watch with everybody there and on tape.
So the rapbattle, as far as you can call it that. Was already won by the dude and still he took a swing at him.
He also could have let that shittalking slide and be bigger then that. That makes a bigger statement (in my opinion) then whooping someones ass.. especially a sucker punch. The other dude had no intention to fight anyway.

But I don't know what happened beforehand... maybe the dude was hungry because he just raped the other dudes sister or something I don't know... in that case I say 'way to go!'

The fuck is someone says something like that... so what? What does it matter? If the dude makes money and the other dude says he doesn't. Turn the other cheek and go back making money.
It's a dumb reason to fight over I think. And the dude could come back another day with friends or weapons or something. For what? verbal abuse.. if the dude would have come back, then his money making days could have well ended there... It's not worth it in my opinion.
But the dude isn't really the smartest one of the bunch anyway if you really have coke, xtc and weed laying around to say stuff like that in public and on cam..

Yes pride is a dangerous thing. And is mis used too often.
"I am proud to be American" (for example)
What for? You don't have any influence in where you are born.
Didn't do anything to become an American or didn't do anything to make America a better place to live in.
If the same person who said that would have been Indian and born in India.. would he still be proud of America? My guess is he would think very different about America.

These people need to be more down to earth and not dramatize everything around them.
Especially the people the people who are responsible for the military choke hold, they set a bad example for the rest of you.

People who use 'pride' as their motivation for something usually did not do anything to accomplish something to be proud about.
'Proud to be black' 'proud to be white' .. what for? you didn't do anything to get that color on your skin. You just got it.

If that dude would have walked away, he could be proud of that.
If you help out people in your community, you can be proud of that.
If you pass a math test when you are terrible in math, be proud of that.

But if someone says you are not eating right because you don't know how to make money.
Just be down to earth there.. you know better yourself. Even with the homies there, they should know better then that aswell. And everybody there then knows the dude is full of shit.
Just let him be, don't hang around him anymore and he will see for himself one day what he really is.
