Yoda is one of the most powerful Jedi of all time currently second to only Luke Skywalker. The Jedi Grandmaster was known for many things, which one was being the one who taught many different students over a long period of time or at least for over 300 years.
Still, much is unknown about Yoda. However, there is one question that comes into play when pertaining to Yoda. That question is what species is Master Yoda from or belongs to. This question is of course still left unanswered, however, this unanswered question may not stay that way for long. Today we bring you confirmation that a Yoda backstory film may be created with the blessing of Lucas Film and Disney. It was revealed that Yoda's past as a youngling or young Jedi would be explored in comics.
It was said that after the release of the comics Disney and Lucas Film will create a film that explores his backstory before 'Star Wars: Episode 1' a Phantom Menace. It is unknown if the film will name Yoda's species but it will cover some basis of his early life. It was also revealed that the film would be ushered in by Luke Skywalker and would be from Luke reading old origins about Yoda was written by Yoda himself.
