MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Authorities in Tennessee say rapper Yo Gotti has been charged with a felony after a Thanksgiving weekend shooting in a nightclub parking lot.
Police say Mario Mims, also known as Yo Gotti, turned himself in Monday.
Mims and 10 other men are charged with aggravated riot. The Commercial Appeal reports several men were wounded by gunshots before in the early morning of Nov. 29.
Court affidavits say Mims began to argue with another man. A fight started, and police documents say unidentified people in the brawl started firing shots.
Murray Wells, an attorney in a firm representing Mims, says he's confident Mims will be cleared of the charges
