year in review in this underground street rap

we lost a few, buncha beef, lots of albums and so on....what do you remember about 2003 in terms of this underground rap shit.

the loss of hitman, the shine lock helped bring back to the bay on mtv, the monsta shit cellski been doin with flip down south, finally a bit more radio play from our stations, the crumble of chain stores, the competitive price change for universal & sony, the rise of the fye stores, the fall of southwest wholesale, the nice tour that was put together by tact out for the bart to the 91siccness comp, the signings of all 4 bay cats...baby bash, jay tee, keek da sneak & geopele (sp?) and so much other shit I am forgetting.

really all 2003 brought us is a lot of potential for 2004

alot of "mixtapes" from the bay... but i cant really remember any that actually used a DJ to mix all the songs together.
