Anyone who talks about money wouldn't be saying anything about it if it was their team. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Plus four of the members who were with the team back in the early years came up with the Yankees and have played there their whole career (minus Pettitte who left for three years), same goes for Cano.

I'm not going to say they don't acquire big players because that would be stupid but the Yankees have had a really good farm system for awhile now.

Baseball needs a salary cap. The Yankees spent $80 mil more than the Red Sox, $200 mil vs. $120 mil. This shit is outta control. Look at the Marlins and Padres. $36 mil; $43 mil.

Also the Red Sox have more then enough money to spend more if they wanted to (but a lot of other teams don't, I agree) so it's not my fault the Steinbrenners (who don't even have the most money in baseball for owners) like to actually spend on their team to bring more money back in.

Winning = money

The Yankees (and Steinbrenners) have made a lot of their money by being winners and selling out games, merchandise, etc.

It has become a business, not that I like it that way at all. But it's not as easy to change as just putting a cap on it.

Umpiring was lousy this whole postseason in general, and if anything was less in favor of the Yankees with the bad calls. Whatever makes you sleep at night though lol.

Replay can only be used on homerun calls by the way.

Worst thing about the World Series (and the rest of the postseason) is that each and every game was 4+ hours long. I LOVE baseball, but its hard enough to get people to watch it on tv, let alone for over 4 hours. EVERY FUCKING PITCH TAKES FOR...EVER! Theres a commercial break every 4 minutes....hell they even take longer to warm up between innings!


I hate the yankees too, but i hate their fans more the team. The Yankees are the Yankees are the Yankees. 40 WS appearances, 27 wins...yes they have the largest payroll but so what? They make the most money....theyre one of the most well-known American sports franchises, if not the most well known. Cant hate on it, just have to enjoy beating them that much more.


Besides, i hate the Red Sox more than anything. At least they didnt win.
