Real good show on the topic of the emotions that Oakland's community is dealing with. Some callers weren't trying to hear it though. Props on KMEL for keeping that program alive. Discuss.

I listened to the begining how did it go...It was a very touchy subject about the OPD and Oscar Grant murder...

You could feel a lot of animosity coming from the many callers by the end of the show. Joseph Marshall (the host) was criticized for not giving some of em a proper oppurtunity to speak freely. I feel he did a great job and that he was in reality just giving a personal spin on things which is what a radio host should do.

Also an oakland teacher of 30+ years had some real progressive input on the situation imo. talked on how the term for people to "come together" can mean many different things to different people.

It's a deep ass subject. Alot of people consider the OPD equivalent ot the KKK. Oscar Grant Murder is still hot...4 Cops dead...Emotions are stirred up on both sides to say the least.
