It was like a shoot out with a cop or something. I went to go try this Chinese place out in Fremont and shit was backed up. I left at like 3:30, ate at the place at 5 and just got back now. Damn there was like hella cops and hella cars with windows busted in and shit. Hella places is packed like near Southland and in Fremont.

Wild Shootout Shuts Down Highway 880::

HAYWARD -- The pursuit of a wanted felon ended Saturday afternoon in a wild highway shootout that left the gunman dead, a Hayward police officer with an abdominal wound, several passing car with bullet holes and the busy 800 corridor closed.

Authorities said the pursuit began when Hayward officers spotted a car that was connected to a felony weapons charge. A chase involving the car and two Hayward patrol cars ensued and looked to be ending when the vehicle pulled over between the Whipple Avenue and Tennyson Avenue exits in Hayward.

A man jumped out of the car and immediately opened fire on the officers. One patrolman was hit and three other officers fired back, fatally wounding the gunman. The exchange left bullet holes in several passing cars.

The shooting took place around 3:45 p.m. and caused Interstate Highway 880 to be closed

yeah i went to the movies at 10 last night and i saw the freeway entrance and they had po po on both sides blockin the freeway, they didn't want anyone to get off either hahaha

i was goin toward union city comin from san leandro and i seen a few bodies on the ground it looked like......there was like ZERO cars for like 2-3 miles...... then all the sudden just straight traffic

was anyone else on the freeway a few weeks ago when 2 cars got fucked up and the drivers and passengers died?the traffic was pretty much the same except it was bad from marina blvd to about the A Street exit

I heard what happened i was trippin on all the traffic before i heard the news. I was 92 and jumped on hesperian and got on mission. Traffic north bound was thick. I thought there was some kinda event going on.

the fucks up with people shooting on 880? somebody else died earlier this year on 880...some dood pulled over near Mowry and just shot at random cars. then cops came and shot him dead. i think this was over the summer. was stuck in traffic for about 2-3 hours
