Teams have figured out that all they have to do is put 8 in the box and key on him, and he aint gon do shit... he busted off one run tonight that was 20 yards, other than that he didn't break a single tackle or find a single hole... I think he's finally realizing that the pros step up and find ways to get the job done, which is what he's going to have to do heading into next year, considering the Vikings will most likely trade Chester Taylor...

The man's got massive talent and could very well be one of the greats, but the past few weeks have proven why he's not at that level yet... he's had a very hard time adjusting to different defensive schemes, whereas somebody like LT, it comes second hand to him.

And with no AD runnin all over the place, the Vikings have nothing. No playmaker at QB, no playmaking receivers, no offense... no playoffs.

i agree. i still think AP had the best year for a RB simply cause he's a rookie and done amazing shit but great defenses and great athletes learn to adjust to a 1 threat offense and are willing to give up some things just to make sure there probowler stays ion check

it isn't him, its the qb and the play calling. I don't understand while it took until half way through the 3rd before we started throwing the ball. If theres 8 men in the box on every down you don't keep running the ball- you fucking throw it! Childress is the worst fucking coach ive ever seen, he clearly doesn't have what it takes to run a nfl team- college maybe. Jackson isn't a great qb but i do still think he was it takes to be solid but he needs more time and he needs to have better plays to run, i think another whole offseason and training camp could help. I know we're stuck with the same head coach for at least one more year and maybe he can spend the offseason making a better playbook. If we get a playmaking WR like maybe a Fitzgerald then we have a chance at being great cause we have all the other pieces (maybe with Jackson). It sucked tonight because we didn't have our best corner or our best WR it clearly showed. We still have a chance at the playoffs so we'll see, but Childress needs to work on his gameplans.

Yeah Childress is a straight up awful coach, I would've rather had the ape Tice stick around a few more years.... but, the blame goes around the whole offense, and the offensive coaches... Jackson is horribly inconsistent and should be further along in his development then he actually is right now as far as the choices he makes... our O-line has mostly been steady but Bryant McKinnie's been made somebody's bitch on way too many occasions this year for the money he's making... our receivers are awful... Williamson seems to have solved his butterfingers but cant run a route to get a first down when it counts... Rice could be the #1 receiver for the future but he's been injury plagued all year... Wade is a #3 or 4 at best on most decent teams, and Ferguson is average at best... Tony Richardson is consistent but should've NEVER gotten that ball at the goal line... and AD, like I said, is going to have to learn to adjust to these defenses going into next year because the simple fact of the matter is teams ARENT going to stop boxing 8 or 9 guys to stop the run with no passing threat whatsoever. The great running backs the league has seen still find a way to make it happen.

So don't get me wrong, I'm not putting blame on AD for the Vikings most likely missing the playoffs, it's because of him they even have a SHOT at the playoffs... I just wanna see all this guy's talent put to use, cuz I know he can develop further.

AP fucked me in my FFL ONCE again the little prick. The last 3 weeks, Gore has done better every week, yet I failed to put him in. Had I done so, i would have one this round of the olayoffs and advanced to the final game.

Little bitch.

RB dominance longevity is becoming shorter and shorter...its way harder now for a RB to dominate throught a whole season and carry it to the next season and do the same thing. Teams are much quicker nowadays to figure out how to stop RBs. I think we will start seeing more of random above average RBs having really good games here and there but no one or two RBs dominating week in and week out...

like i said he has the potential to be a solid qb but the coaches are not calling plays that will allow him to be good and he is still making rookie mistakes. You can't run on first and second down and then throw on third every series and expect to be successful. And we also don't have very good WR's, rice is going to be good but he has been hurt several times this year including last night. We have a first year offensive coordinator who clearly doesn't know how to make consistent play calls yet. But he still is 8-3 as a starter, and he has missed a bunch of time this year which has cut into his development. I never said he was a great qb, i said he had been playing well during the 4 game winning streak which he was. The last two weeks hes played like crap but that is going to happen when you have a young qb. And where is this bandwagon shit coming from? like ive said several times im from minnesota, and if i was a bandwagon fan wouldn't i choose the patriots, cowboys, or hell even the packers? I can still take comfort in the fact that the vikings are far better than the niners and raiders

Man Tavaris Jackson is straight up garbage. Dude's terrible. Over throwing passes and taking hella long to make a decision. Plus I had a 3 team parlay and i needed the vikings to win by 6 to collect but of course these fags cant come thru at home

tavaris jackson is pretty weak, if he could manage to just throw for about 180 yards and no picks a game they could win a bunch more, he doesnt need the be great, he just needs to not be bad. when the pressure is put on phillip rivers and is made to throw he honestly does not do alot better than jackson and tomlinson can be stopped with eight man in the box also
