West Coast emcee Xzibit is currently gearing up for the release of his sixth solo album entitled Full Circle.
The disc will be the first for the host of MTV's "Pimp My Ride" since 2004's Weapons of Mass Destruction. The album, which is co-executive produced by Keith Shocklee of The Bomb Squad (most known for his work with Public Enemy and Ice Cube), includes a hefty dose of feature appearances from left coast emcees including DJ Quik, King Tee, The Game, Daz and Kurupt, as well as T-Pain, Donell Rawlings ("Chappelle's Show") and others.
The album addresses a variety of issues including a song that discusses the increasing tensions between Blacks and Latinos in California. The lead single "Concentrate" produced by Rick Rock, is set to hit radio in the coming weeks.
In related news, Xzibit will be making his way back to the big screen starring alongside The Rock in the new film Gridiron Gang. The film, directed by Phil Joanou, is based on the true life story of a group of young criminals in a correctional facility who gain confidence through football and is set to hit theaters on September 15.
Full Circle will hit stores on October 17 on Open Bar Entertainment/Koch Records
