These days, rappers rival only Hell's Angels and rockers for most tattoos per person. And lately, it seems like a lot of MC's need to step their body-ink game up. Remember, barring painful and expensive surgery, tattoos are around (as 'Pac would say) until the end of time. So think long and hard, kiddies - and don't imitate these current five worst tattoos in hip-hop.

01. The Game's "Butterfly/LA": At the time he got it, he said the butterfly at his right cheek was for the chicks, and symbolized a rebirth. A year later, it's covered with an "LA." Some rebirth. At least covering a tattoo is cheaper than removing it.
02. Chingy's "Daddy's Angel": Did you ever notice the "Daddy's Angel" tattoo on Chingaling's neck? How cute. Now is he Daddy's angel or the daddy of an angel? We don't get it?
03. Lil' Wayne's "Fear God": Eyelid tattoos are about as gangsta as gangsta gets. But do you really get the feeling Wayne's a threat? And is he the one fearing God or is it a message he wants to give us only when he blinks.
04. Nas' "Kelis"[/u: Naked lady tattoos are always cool, and a picture of wifey on your arm is a classy gesture. But a naked tattoo of wifey seems like the wrong type of advertising. That's one piece of body art Nas definitely doesn't want the boss looking at.
05. DMX's "Boomer": This is an oldie but goodie. With X making a comeback, we're sure we'll be seeing that famous inked-back tribute to his best friend and dog, Boomer, soon. Now that's a jailhouse tattoo if there ever was one. You'd think he would've gotten Cartoon to touch it up a bit over the years. Nope, don't touch Boomer.
