I have some hope. The last Wolverine game [with Hamil voicing] was pretty good. And Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 for the PSX were some of the best games for that system. Period.

Although X-3 the video game...it was horrible.

spiderman 2 was one of my favorites as well, only because of the open world/sandbox feel. the basic gameplay was still repetitive.

Most games based on movies have the shittiest reviews not to mention gameplay, they seriously gotta change this stigma, I agree those spiderman games were dope but they had that sandbox feel so it felt like you can do wtf you want. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is probably a better buy than this, shits deep at least.

Are you serious?

You steal vehicle. Drive vehicle to specified location. Do mission. Repeat.
There is options to choose from though its not a straight line game like most movies based on games are. There is no real achievement feel playing a straight line game that anybody can beat, another example that Lord of the Rings game on the first Xbox.

I'm not arguing most movie based games are good. I'm arguing that GTA is a very repetitive game. And it is. You can't do more than steal car. drive to purple circle on map. do mission.

Riding a bike/flying a plane/driving a boat/jumping off a plane are all variations of driving the car.

Yea but you have options in what direction you want to go and if you into the story line enough, not just shooting people and trying to see how many stars you get theres more too it. If you want to have more fun with that get Saints Row hella activities and and storyline also ability to hold up stores and throw people around n shit, even if you not into story line you can still just keep trying to rob stores and shit just get money and buy some property.
