played for like 4 hours today and went to put a dvd in to watch and the circle that lights up green in the front started to flash red and the screen said that my box need repairs and to call the xbox customer service. has this happened to any1/

did u get a message in like 6 different languages??? cause my buddy did, and he had to send his xbox to microsoft for repairs, 6 weeks later and they sent him a refurbished xbox. and now he's sayin that this one is freezing up n shit. I'm glad I got a 2 year over the counter warranty on mine, any problems I take it back in the box and get a brand new one NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!!

if its an older one the dvd drives were hella shitty. happened to me too. just stopped reading altogether.

buy 1 from walmart and return ur fucked up one, say it doesnt play... they might check the stickers but thats rare, if you wanna be prepared for that shit take a hair dryer and put it over the serial number stick and itll come off clean and u can switch em
