just saw what my friend did to his xbox. he got a another harddrive installed in it and chipped by some dude in san jose. now his xbox can copy games and stores up to 70 at a time, which dude hooked him up with all the titles he requested. then he put on every nintendo supernintendo and early sega games on it. loading takes no time at all and the opening screen of the xbox is red not green. im gonna try thi out myself next week or so

He's using NexGen or something.
Evolution X is better. It lets you customize the dashboard.
I've got some naked chick bending over the Xbox logo on mine.
You can throw your own pics in there.


Go to Xbox-scene.com and hit the message forums.
You can do this shit yourself, it's pretty easy.
I did it myself.

Xbox is like the best fuckin console ever.
You can play NES, SNES, N64, Master System, Genesis, Sega CD, Turbo Graphix 16, Neo Geo, Gameboy Advance, Mame, and even PSX games on it.
It's the shit man, I can't stress it enough.
You can even throw some apps in there as well.
I have Windows Media Player on mine. You can upload pics and video clips.

I suggest everyone go peep out the Xbox-scene, you won't regret it.

Miggidy holla at me, I been looking for the Genesis emu but havent been able to find it can u hook it up.


if u chip your box Xbox live (online play) is gone! u cant do both!!

ive had my box modded for about a year and a half now and its still chuggin along. ill get a new one if a live enabled mod chip has been released. is there one available yet? i want to be able to play games direct from the hard drive on live. i got pictures of my kids on my load up screen. i dont load up on games. i have all the ea sports 2k4 games plus halo, gta, true crime, and a few of the newer shootem up shit. theres nothing like going around the corner and renting a game for 3 bucks and returning it 45 minutes later owning the game. :) i could download the games but that takes longer than walking to the video store.

ok this shit seems hella complicated, there are different chips with crazy names and all that. can somebody that has already done it put it in everyday terms for me? break it down.?

Basically you're going to take apart your xbox, or have someone do it for you and they're most likely going to have to solder the chip to a certain location in the xbox. Then the xbox will have different features and options that'll enable you to save the games to it's very own hard drive and can be played from there.
