Referencing a "partially torn document" found at a meeting with other Xbox MVPs, Unscripted 360 reports that Microsoft is prepping a soon-to-be-revealed program that will vaguely reward Xbox 360 players who unlock game Achievements. The rewards aren't just geek bragging rights, but (maybe) material and virtual goods.
Unscripted drops a few hints about what we can expect from the fee-free reward system, which will allow a limited number of gamers to win... something merely by playing. I'm having Numb Thumb Club flashbacks.
Gamespot later followed up with Microsoft, who told the online pub that, while they don't comment on rumors, commented on the rumor by indicating that the company "is always exploring ideas for how we can reward our loyal customers" and to look for more info soon. Michael McWhertor

lol.. im the complete opposite of you homie.. fucka rating or a rank or whatever, jus gimme the achievements. im an achievement whore like no other.

i went to my lil brothers house today an he jus got gears so i signed in with an old account i put on his 360 months ago an i only had 350 gamerpoints.. i was like "AH FUCK THAT! i gotta get me some achievements" ended up goin thru the campaign twice jus to get some achievement points... its fuckin ridiculous but i gotta have em

I'm an achievement whore my self... My girl will get lame ass puzzle games and shit, and I'll make her play them on my profile so I can get the points for it...
